Notifying a suspected integrity violation

Who Can File a Notification?

Anyone can report a suspected integrity violation within the Government of Aruba. This means that both individuals working for the Government of Aruba and those who do not work for the government may submit a notification of suspected violation.

What Can Be Reported?

Any suspected integrity violation within the Government of Aruba can be reported. The notification must be based on reasonable grounds. This means the notifier has witnessed or experienced the situation themselves and/or has supporting evidence (documents, emails, photos, etc.).
Reports based solely on hearsay will not be processed.

This reporting procedure is not intended for (personal) complaints, such as dissatisfaction with government services, treatment by government personnel, or internal labor disputes between government employees.

Where Can You Report?

A suspected integrity violation within the Government of Aruba can be reported to the relevant department or to the BIA’s reporting center. There is no obligation to report it first to the relevant department, but doing so is preferred.
