Our ongoing projects
Below is an overview of BIA’s ongoing projects aimed at promoting and safeguarding integrity within the government of Aruba.

Integrity Code of Conduct for
Government Employees
A joint project with Departamento Recurso Humano (DRH), resulting in a code of conduct for integrity for government employees of the Land Aruba.
The code of conduct provides protection to government employees by helping them recognize risks and enhancing their resilience.
Strengthening Integrity in Government Departments
A pilot project in which six integrity instruments are developed and implemented in ten government departments of the government of Aruba.
The Aruban government consists of approximately 87 government departments. This scale is too large to implement the integrity instruments across all departments at once. Therefore, a pilot project has been initiated with the participation of ten government departments.

Integrity Confidential Advisors
A Confidential Integrity Advisor for the government of Aruba is a confidential and independent point of contact where a government employee of Aruba can turn if they suspect an integrity violation within a government department.
